London based female Artist, Dalia Zermon, deals with Portraying life?s concepts, as she sees them, in bright colour.
The general themes addressed are freedom and restriction, playing with the question of whether pure creativity and the
authentic can emerge within ?enframing??..contexts of influence? Societies, families, that necessarily have penetrating
ideas and pre-decided structures. The answer in the work visibly leans towards a faithful ?yes? yet there is still apparent a
need to continually ask the question in her artistic media. The paintings often have a sky type background, filled with
colourful events, showing the potential and unborn, the old and the developing, interlacing as though time did not exist.
Coming from a background of both Art and Philosophy, the ability to Sensitively fuse the two worlds is evident in each piece.
The Artist sees her Art as her clearest language?.with a keen intrigue in sharing her work?.the response
of those that watch and listen is equally important and as legitimate to the Artist as her own intention??..
?this way the spirit flows out of my paintings and back again with renewed energy, no stagnation?.
